In the afternoon of May 30, 2024, sponsored by the Xuanqiao Town Federation of Trade Unions and undertaken by Shanghai Tramy Green Food (Group) Co., Ltd., the "Best Traditional Dumpling, Salty and Sweet Zongzi -- Tramy Handmade Pastry Dumpling Skill Competition" was officially held in Tramy Group Tianzhi Green Food Co., Ltd.

This labor competition is divided into two entries, both of which are single player competition system, namely manual Zongzi and manual steamed stuffed bun operation. There are two stages in this labor competition: the preliminary contest and the final contest. After a tense and intense preliminary round, two representative teams were ultimately eliminated, and a total of 20 players advanced to the final.

At the competition site, with the host's call to start the competition, the leaves of rice dumplings were flying, rice wrapping, feeding, leaf rolling, and bundling... The players were skilled in their actions, and one by one standard Zongzi was quickly formed in the hands of the players, performing the "speed and passion" on their fingertips; Starting from each piece of dough, make the bottom of the dough, put the filling, fold the dough, and then manually knead it into a steamed bun with clear patterns and uniform size. The atmosphere at the scene was tense and warm, and the players' skillful skills in making Zongzi and steamed buns were praised by the professional judges and leaders on the scene.

Through the consideration of the three dimensions of the players' food production ability, proficiency and quality control, and through professional comments, Tao Liangping, Zhang Liming and Guo Zhaoping of the wheat workshop won the first, second and third prizes of the Zongzi Group respectively; Wang Ju, Hu Huafeng, and Zhao Quanfeng from the baozi workshop won the first, second, and third prizes in the baozi category. Fourteen employees, including Zhu Nana, were awarded the Encouragement Award.

After the competition ended, the judges took a group photo with all the participants. The contestants waved their prizes and smiled, still immersed in the atmosphere of the competition. The participating workers all hope that the union can hold more similar activities in the future, cultivate more industry craftsmen, and promote the Chinese pastry culture.
